The SSD Board is the managing body of the District, while the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners is the governing body.
The SSD Board meets monthly to discuss pending business and take board action on necessary items. The public is welcome to attend and share input at regular monthly meetings.
The Sunriver Service District (SSD) was established through an agreement between Deschutes County and Sunriver Owners Association on July 1, 2002, and it oversees both the Sunriver Fire and Police departments.
