The Managing Board for the District consists of seven appointed board members. The SSD is a public service district authorized under Oregon Revised Statutes, and is required to adhere to all rules and laws established for Oregon public entities.

Suggestions or opinions?

The SSD Board meets monthly to discuss pending business and take board action on necessary items. The public is welcome to attend and share input at regular monthly meetings.

​The SSD Board is the managing body of the District, while the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners is the governing body.
